Defenseman gets two years, center one; could have been free agents after season

Brendan Guhle and Sam Carrick each signed a contract with the Anaheim Ducks on Sunday.
Guhle, who could have been a restricted free agent after this season, signed a two-year contract after scoring eight points (four goals, four assists) in 30 games this season. The 22-year-old defenseman also scored 14 points (four goals, 10 assists) in 27 games with San Diego of the American Hockey League.
Selected by the Buffalo Sabres in the second round (No. 51) of the 2015 NHL Draft, Guhle has scored 14 points (four goals, 10 assists) in 59 games with the Ducks and Sabres.
Carrick, who could have become an unrestricted free agent after the season, signed a one-year contract. He scored two points (one goal, one assist) in nine games with the Ducks this season. The 28-year-old center also scored 43 points (23 goals, 20 assists) in 46 games with San Diego of the AHL.
Selected by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the fifth round (No. 144) of the 2010 NHL Draft, Carrick has scored five points (two goals, three assists) in 34 games with the Ducks and Maple Leafs.
