Sonny Milano signed a two-year contract with the Anaheim Ducks on Tuesday. Financial terms were not released.

The 24-year-old forward, who could have become a restricted free agent after this season, had 23 points (seven goals, 16 assists) in 55 games for the Ducks and Columbus Blue Jackets. Milano was traded to Anaheim on Feb. 24 and scored five points (two goals, three assists) in nine games before the season was paused March 12 due to concerns surrounding the coronavirus.

Selected by the Blue Jackets in the first round (No. 16) of the 2014 NHL Draft, Milano has 47 points (22 goals, 25 assists) in 125 regular-season games, and no points in four Stanley Cup Playoff games.
