zegras wild goal

How do you keep
scoring stylish and unique goals
in the NHL? Practice, practice, practice.

Anaheim Ducks forward Trevor Zegras, the man who has brought us
the Michigan assist
, the
All-Star Skills Dodgeball slingshot
and easily one of the
biggest lacrosse
goal threats
in the League has now given us all something new to look at and ponder.
Prior to a game against the Los Angeles Kings on Friday, Zegras was shown on camera messing around with some potential moves.

It starts as your run-of-the-mill between the legs shot attempt, something that
is amazing
but
we've
all
seen before
. But then it takes a turn.
Instead of shooting it between his legs, Zegras pops the puck into the air to the opposite side, then backhand bats it out of the air and into the net.
Ducks goalie Lukas Dostal, in net for the practice run, never knew what hit him.
We all look forward to this one being perfected and broken out for real sometime soon.
