Anderson

St. Louis Blues fan Laila Anderson didn't come empty-handed to the Blues game on Saturday.

Anderson brought a flower for "Flower" -- or Minnesota Wild goalie Marc-Andre Fleury, whose nickname is derived from the English translation of his last name -- before the Blues game against the Wild at Enterprise Arena.
She also wrote Fleury a hand-written letter and gave him a card about her story and battle with hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH).

Anderson is a known die-hard Blues fan who helped the team hoist the Stanley Cup in 2019, but the dedicated St. Louis supporter roots for Minnesota on the side. Anderson's dad Scott is from Minnesota and
the two often travel for Blues games
, including the Blues-Wild matchup at the 2022 NHL Winter Classic.
"I have been following your career since the beginning," Anderson wrote to Fleury. "I am a huge fan. I am so happy you are playing for my second favorite team, the Wild."
Anderson wished Fleury luck in the upcoming playoffs, which should be fun for the teenager, likely featuring both her No. 1 and No. 2 teams.
