Andy Greene
agreed to terms on a contract with the New York Islanders on Thursday. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The 38-year-old defenseman scored 14 points (two goals, 12 assists) in 63 games with the New York Islanders and New Jersey Devils last season including three assists in 10 games after he was traded to the Islanders on Feb. 16. Greene had four points (two goals, two assists) in 21 Stanley Cup Playoff games.
Signed by New Jersey as an undrafted free agent on April 4, 2006, Greene has 249 points (49 goals, 200 assists) in 933 regular-season games with the Islanders and Devils and has 13 points (five goals, eight assists) in 71 Stanley Cup Playoff games.
Greene, who ranks seventh all-time on the Devils in games played (923), was captain for five seasons from 2015-20.
