Anthony Stolarz
made history Sunday
and a few fans who know all about him were in the house to witness it.

Wearing Stolarz jerseys from throughout his career, Steve Schaffer, John Leston and Eric Vogel got to see the Philadelphia Flyers goalie become the first in NHL history from New Jersey to start a game. The Edison, N.J. native also earned his first win as the Flyers beat the Calgary Flames, 5-3.
"We're good, good friends, known him since he was in high school," Schaffer said. "He used to watch us play on the men's league. Now I collect his NHL jerseys."
The three, who used to play in a men's league with Stolarz' older brother Todd, wore Stolarz jerseys from his stops with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms and London Knights.
