Anton Khudobin
is out for the season Dallas Stars because of a hip injury.

The 35-year-old goalie had a right hip arthroscopy and labral repair Monday. The expected recovery time is six months.
Khudobin was 3-4-1 with a 3.63 goals-against average and .879 save percentage in nine games (seven starts) this season. He last played in the NHL on Jan. 15.
He was 2-4-0 with a 2.55 GAA and .903 save percentage in six games with Texas of the American Hockey League, having last played Jan. 29.
The Stars are also without goalie Braden Holtby, who has missed three games because of a lower-body injury. He is 10-10-1 with a 2.78 GAA and .913 save percentage in 24 games (22 starts).
Rookie Jake Oettinger has started the past four games for the Stars. He is 19-9-1 with a 2.46 GAA and .918 save percentage in 31 games (29 starts).
The Stars began the season with four goalies on the roster. Ben Bishop, who was recovering from knee surgery, did not play this season before retiring in December.
Dallas (32-23-3) lost to the Toronto Maple Leafs 4-0 on Tuesday and is one point behind the Vegas Golden Knights for the second wild card into the Stanley Cup Playoffs from the Western Conference.
