Arizona breaks out vintage uniforms worn during early years in desert

The Arizona Coyotes took a trip back in time to celebrate their 20th anniversary in the desert, complete with the old threads.
The Coyotes donned the old 1990s sweaters that paired black with maroon with green with wild-patterned piping and a kacinha doll-inspired Coyote logo on the front.
The team also gave away a vintage Keith Tkachuk bobblehead and launched a social media campaign with the hashtag #ARI20NA in celebration of the milestone. Merchandise with the original logo was also on sale for $19.96.
While it may now clearly be of another era, the Coyotes original logo is unforgettable, if nothing else. The team made the switch to a simpler color pattern and a much more modern-looking howling coyote for the 2003-04 season. But it was nice to see the old unis back even if just for a night.
