ASU player Caps

The Washington Capitals were the big men on campus on Thursday.

During their morning skate at Mullett Arena ahead of their game against the Arizona Coyotes, the team received a gift and perhaps an offer to take some classes in the future.
Arizona State forward Teddy Lagerback gifted the Capitals a signed gold stick from him and his teammates during Washington's morning skate. Lagerback wore an Alex Ovechkin jersey as he explained to the Capitals that he was a huge fan growing up and wanted to do something special to welcome them to the Sun Devils' home.

The Capitals tapped their sticks in appreciation.
"Where do we enroll," one Capitals player joked.
The Sun Devils tweeted out an admission link in response to the video.

The Coyotes weren't a huge fan of the Sun Devils showing the Capitals love.

Arizona State's weekend opponents, RIT, were also in the stands watching the Capitals practice.

Hope none of the players were chewing gum.
