Landeskog family dog turns out to be Bernie the mascot in new ad

Call them the Landes-dog Family.

In a new ad for UCHealth, Colorado Avalanche captain Gabe Landeskog and his wife Melissa debate getting a dog.
At first, Melissa is in favor and Gabe is resistent. But the tables eventually turn with a bit of a twist. Landeskog shared the spot on social media.

The Landeskogs new family dog turns out to be Bernie, the Avalanche mascot.
Bernie and Gabe look happy as clams laying on the couch together.
And while it's clearly not what Melissa had in mind, hey, at least Bernie is already housebroken.
