The Columbus Blue Jackets did everything they could to push luck in their favor ahead of the 2023 NHL Draft Lottery.

Stinger, the Blue Jackets' mascot, showed up to the team's watch party on Monday wearing a leprechaun hat and carrying horseshoes and boxes of Lucky Charms cereal for good luck.

The mascot was handing out handfuls of the cereal to fans to help spread the luck.

When all was said and done, the Blue Jackets earned third pick in the 2023 NHL Draft, behind the Chicago Blackhawks and the Anaheim Ducks.

Seems like those good luck charms helped out, Stinger.
