NEW YORK -- St. Louis Blues defenseman Robert Bortuzzo has been fined $3,091.40, the maximum allowable under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, for cross-checking New York Islanders forward Brock Nelson during NHL Game No. 33 in New York on Monday, Oct. 9, the National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety announced today.
The incident occurred at 3:56 of the second period. Bortuzzo was assessed a pair of minor penalties for cross-checking.
