Ivan Barbashev agreed to a two-year, $4.5 million contract with the St. Louis Blues on Friday. It has an average annual value of $2.25 million.

The 25-year-old forward was a restricted agent. He scored 12 points (five goals, seven assists) in 38 games for St. Louis last season and had one assist in four Stanley Cup Playoff games.
Selected by the Blues in the second round (No. 33) of the 2014 NHL Draft, Barbashev has scored 89 points (42 goals, 47 assists) in 270 regular-season games and seven points (three goals, four assists) in 38 playoff games. He helped St. Louis win its first Stanley Cup championship in 2019.
