Peter Bondra scored 503 goals and had 892 points during his 16-season NHL career, yet the world-class offensive talent may have met his offensive match while teaching hockey in the United Arab Emirates.

Bondra, who scored 472 of those goals for the Washington Capitals, met Fatima while representing the Capitals and coaching at the Pavlikovsky Hockey School program at the Zayed Sports Ice Rink in Abu Dhabi on Sunday and Monday. The school is designed to help youth players with their skills.

Fatima got to show off her on-ice game to Bondra, and it remarkable too.

"I'm excited to help grow the game in the UAE and use my experience to teach young hockey players in the region," Bondra told the Capitals website Tuesday. "The opportunities to host these types of clinics around the globe will promote the growth of hockey and the Capitals."
Fellow Slovakians and former NHL players Richard Lintner and Miroslav Satan are in Abu Dhabi with Bondra for the clinic.
