Bruins forward faces discipline from NHL for elbowing Devils left wing Johansson

Boston Bruins forward Brad Marchand will have a hearing with the NHL Department of Player Safety on Wednesday for elbowing New Jersey Devils forward Marcus Johansson.

The incident occurred with 1:59 remaining in the third period at TD Garden on Tuesday. No penalty was called on the play.
Johansson left the game and did not return. The Bruins won 3-2.
The following grounds are being considered for supplemental discipline: elbowing. However, the Department of Player Safety retains the right to make adjustments to the infraction upon review.
