Grzelcyk scores the overtime winner in a 2-1 victory

CHICAGO- Matt Grzelcyk scored at 1:40 of overtime to give the Boston Bruins a 2-1 victory against the Chicago Blackhawks at United Center on Tuesday.

Grzelcyk took a pass from Taylor Hall in the right face-off circle and shot it past Marc-Andre Fleury.
"We made a good [line] change to start, which is big in OT," Grzelcyk said. "You want to force turnovers. We got a couple there and held on to the puck. Even if there's not a whole lot going on, you're just stressing the other team, just having to stay out there and play 'D' a little bit.
"I just wanted to get open for [Hall] and [David Pastrnak]. They're two unbelievable players, and they're going to find me. They're super creative. I wanted to move away from the blue line just a little bit to open up a little space there, and 'Hallsy' made a great play at the end."

Fleury made 46 saves for Chicago (22-30-9).
"Yeah, he was outstanding," said Blackhawks coach Derek King. "I don't know what else to say about this guy. When he's on like that, it's fun to watch. I don't want to say there were a lot of outside shots, they were easy shots to see, but he made some spectacular saves.
"First game against Boston (a 4-3 loss Thursday), I think we deserved better. Just the way it went. Tonight, I think they deserved better."
Linus Ullmark made 19 saves for Boston (37-18-5), which is 10-1-1 in its past 12 games.
Ullmark said he was inspired to match Fleury's play.
"It gets me a little fired up, obviously, because he's doing a tremendous job stopping pucks and he's playing with a lot of energy," Ullmark said. "And he's done it for all these years in the League. He's a great goaltender. That's it. But admiration, no. But afterwards now, if we were able to look at the game, I would say he was terrific tonight."
Patrice Bergeron gave the Bruins a 1-0 lead at 4:43 of the third period. He batted the puck out of midair and scored on the 40th shot against Fleury.

Brandon Hagel tied the game at 1-1 at 9:36, when he tipped in a shot by Caleb Jones from the right point.
The Bruins appeared to have taken a 2-1 lead at 15:15, but the apparent goal by Charlie Coyle from the slot was waved off for goaltender interference against Craig Smith. The call was upheld by replay review after Boston challenged.
The Bruins outshot the Blackhawks 14-4 in the first period, then 24-6 in the second. Fleury made a glove save on Pastrnak at 9:45 of the first period then stopped Erik Haula on a 2-on-1 from the slot at 9:02 of the second.
"He brings 100 percent every game," Hagel said of Fleury. "He's not going to let you down. He's probably the best teammate I've had my entire career playing hockey, one of the nicest guys, and he brings 100 percent whether it's in practice, whether it's in the game, obviously. That's why he's going to be a Hall of Famer.
"It's tough because he's fought so hard for us all year. Obviously, he stood on his head tonight and made some unbelievable saves. It's tough for us not to get him the win. He's deserved many wins this year from us that weren't able to get for him."
NOTES: Nick Foligno played in his 1,000th NHL game. The Bruins forward was minus-1 in 8:32 of ice time. He shared a piece of NHL history with his father, Mike Foligno, who played 1,018 games.
