As part of NHL.com's 32 in 32 series, the fantasy hockey staff put together projections for relevant players on the Boston Bruins. Players are listed in order of fantasy rank for this season.

Reason for optimism: Pastrnak ranked second in the NHL in goals (61) last season, behind Connor McDavid (64) of the Edmonton Oilers, and was tied for third in points (113), behind McDavid (153) and Oilers forward Leon Draisaitl (128). Pastrnak also led the NHL in even-strength goals (43) and shots on goal (407; the most in a single season since Alex Ovechkin had 528 in 2008-09), and was second in even-strength points (76), behind Nathan MacKinnon of the Colorado Avalanche (77).

Reason for optimism: Ullmark led the NHL in goals-against average (1.89) and save percentage (.938), and was tied with Alexandar Georgiev of the Avalanche for the League lead in wins (40) despite making 14 fewer starts last season.

Reason for optimism: Despite missing the start of last season because of offseason hip surgery, Marchand still averaged close to a point per game (67 in 73 games). He ranks sixth in the NHL in points per game (1.16) since 2016-17.

Reason for optimism: McAvoy missed the start of last season because of offseason shoulder surgery, but he still ranked 15th among NHL defensemen in points per game (0.78; 52 points in 67 games). He also once again averaged more than one hit per game (84 total; 1.7 per game in NHL career).

Reason for optimism: Swayman and Ullmark were arguably the best goalie tandem in the NHL last season, helping the Bruins set a League record with 65 wins. Since making his NHL debut during the 2020-21 season, Swayman is tied for fourth in the League with a .920 save percentage (minimum 75 games). At just 24 years old, Swayman is right up there among the most valuable goalies in fantasy keeper and dynasty leagues.

Reason for optimism:Lindholm had NHL career highs in assists (43; tied for 13th among defensemen), points (53), power-play points (17) and shots on goal (158) last season. He also led the League in plus/minus (plus-49).
