Shattenkirk signs 1-year, $1.05 million contract with Bruins
34-year-old defenseman won Stanley Cup with Lightning in 2020

Kevin Shattenkirk signed a one-year, $1.05 million contract with the Boston Bruins on Saturday.
The 34-year-old defenseman had 27 points (four goals, 23 assists) in 75 games for the Anaheim Ducks last season.
Selected by the Colorado Avalanche in the first round (No. 14) of the 2007 NHL Draft, Shattenkirk has 460 points (97 goals, 363 assists) in 891 regular-season games for the Avalanche, Ducks, Tampa Bay Lightning, New York Rangers, Washington Capitals and St. Louis Blues.
He has 47 points (eight goals, 39 assists) in 85 Stanley Cup Playoff games and won the Cup with the Lightning in 2020.
Forwards Milan Lucic (one year, $1 million plus $500,000 in incentives), James van Riemsdyk (one-year, $1 million), Morgan Geekie (two years, $4 million) and Patrick Brown (two years, $1.6 million) each signed a contract with the Bruins on Saturday.
