The Boston Bruins acquired defenseman John-Michael Liles from the Carolina Hurricanes on Monday in a trade for left wing Anthony Camara, a third-round pick in the 2016 NHL Draft and a fifth-round pick in the 2017 NHL Draft.
Liles, who has six goals and 15 points in 64 games this season, can become an unrestricted free agent July 1.

Liles, 35, has 87 goals and 359 points in 783 NHL games with the Hurricanes, Toronto Maple Leafs and Colorado Avalanche. He was Colorado's fifth-round pick (No. 159) at the 2000 NHL Draft.

Camara was selected in the third round (No. 81) of the 2011 NHL Draft by the Bruins. He has five assists in 33 games with Providence of the American Hockey League this season.
The Bruins also acquired forward Lee Stempniak from the New Jersey Devils for a fourth-round pick in the 2016 NHL Draft pick and a second-round pick in the 2017 NHL Draft.
