Point took part in the Lightning's optional morning skate Friday, and the center showed no signs of being limited.
Tampa Bay trails the best-of-7 series 3-1 and must win three consecutive games to capture the Stanley Cup a third consecutive time.
Point sustained a lower-body injury in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference First Round against the Toronto Maple Leafs and missed the next 10 games. He returned for Games 1 and 2 of the Cup Final, with one assist, but did not play in Games 3 and 4.
Point has five points (two goals, three assists) in nine games this postseason. His combined 28 goals in the Stanley Cup Playoffs in Tampa Bay's two Cup titles in 2020 and 2021 are the most of any player in that span, and his 56 points in that stretch is second to his teammate, forward Nikita Kucherov (66 points; 15 goals, 51 assists).

Anthony Cirelli did participate in warmups. The center appeared to sustain an upper-body injury in the second period of Game 4 Wednesday when the skate of his teammate, forward Alex Killorn, looked as if it clipped him in the arm. Cirelli, who had opened the scoring at 36 seconds of the first period, returned for the third period and overtime of Tampa Bay's 3-2 loss.
Cirelli has spent a good part of the series shadowing the Artturi Lehkonen-Nathan MacKinnon-Mikko Rantanen line, though Avalanche coach Jared Bednar does have the advantage of the last change in Game 5. The center has also chipped in offensively with eight points (three goals, five assists) in 21 playoff games.
Erik Cernak is probable for Game 5, Lightning coach Jon Cooper said. The defenseman blocked a shot in the second period of Game 4 and did not return, forcing Tampa Bay to play the remainder of the game with five defensemen.
Cernak has two points (one goal, one assist) in 21 games this postseason.
