Forward injured knee in first period against Sabres on Saturday

Boston Bruins forward Matt Beleskey will miss six weeks because of a right knee injury. Beleskey injured his knee in the first period of a 2-1 win against the Buffalo Sabres on Saturday.
The 28-year-old has two goals and three assists in 24 games for Boston this season. The Bruins defeated the Florida Panthers 4-3 in overtime for their third straight win on Monday. They play the Washington Capitals at Verizon Center on Wednesday (8 p.m. ET; NBCSN, TVA Sports, NHL.TV).
