BOS@FLA, Gm4: Ullmark dives across to stone Reinhart

You don't take half measures in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Just ask Linus Ullmark.

The Boston Bruins goalie went all out on a full dive across the crease to stop a shot from Florida Panthers forward Sam Reinhart in the first period of Game 4 of the Eastern Conference First Round.
Ullmark was staring down Panthers forward Carter Verhaeghe, who at the last minute shuffled a perfect cross-ice pass to Reinhart, who fired one that was ticketed for the net.
Ullmark got all the way across the crease, got his glove up and his head down while diving to make sure his whole body got the meaty part of the puck for the save.
Immediately after, a sprawled-out Ullmark covered up a last-ditch attempt from Verhaeghe to bank it off the Bruins goalie into the net.
Did Ullmark have to dive? We can answer that question with a question: Does it matter? This is, after all, the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
