The goalie, who was acquired in a trade with the Chicago Blackhawks on Monday, is 16-10-5 with a 3.01 goals-against average and a .918 save percentage.
The Golden Knights will try to win their eighth consecutive game, which would tie their record set from Dec. 14, 2017 to Jan. 2, 2018. Vegas leads the Edmonton Oilers and Vancouver Canucks by four points for first place in the Pacific Division.
Dominik Kahun will make his debut for the Sabres, who are 5-2-0 in their past seven games. The forward was traded to Buffalo from the Pittsburgh Penguins on Monday.
The Sabres trail the Toronto Maple Leafs by 10 points for third place in the Atlantic Division, and the Columbus Blue Jackets by 10 points for the second wild card from the Eastern Conference.

Players to watch

Sabres defenseman Colin Miller will play his first game against his former team. Miller had 70 points (13 goals, 57 assists) in two seasons with the Golden Knights.
Golden Knights forward Max Pacioretty has 10 points (six goals, four assists) during the seven-game winning streak.
