Mangiapane surgery

Andrew Mangiapane will be ready for Calgary Flames training camp after the forward had shoulder surgery.

The forward scored 17 goals this season after he had an NHL career-high 35 in 2021-22. He has 175 points (95 goals, 80 assists) in 342 regular-season games and 12 points (six goals, six assists) in 27 Stanley Cup Playoff games.
The Flames (38-27-17) missed the playoffs for the second time in three seasons and one year after winning 50 games, the Pacific Division and advancing to the best-of-7 Western Conference Second Round, a five-game loss to the Edmonton Oilers.
