The Sabres, 3-0-1 in their past four, are after their first five-game point streak since getting points in nine straight (7-0-2) from March 10-27, 2012. They also can extend a streak of scoring four goals in a game to five for the first time since Feb. 20-March 2, 2007.
Goalie David Rittich will start for the Flames in the second half of a back-to-back set. Calgary ended a three-game losing streak (0-2-1) with three goals in the third period of a 3-1 win against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Monday. The Flames lead the NHL with 19 third-period goals.
