CGY@CHI: Smith uses skate for jaw-dropping save

Calgary Flames goalie Mike Smith had a leg up on the Chicago Blackhawks on Sunday. Quite literally.

Leading by one goal in the third period with 5:15 to go, some action behind the net left Smith sprawled out on the left side of the crease. He knew most of the net was open.
Blackhawks forward Artem Anisimov was waiting on the doorstep, ready to tie the game. But that's when Smith became half-man, half-scorpion.
Lifting his right leg at the exact perfect time, Smith stopped Anisimov's shot attempt with the blade of his skate, sending the puck high in the air and out of harm's way.
The save defied logic and continues to even upon multiple viewings.
