The Calgary Flames will hold an outdoor practice at Central Park in New York City on Saturday.
The Flames will participate in a full skate at Lasker Rink in the park's north end. Players will dress at the hotel and shuttle back and forth in full equipment.

"You get very few opportunities to play outdoors and actually have an NHL practice," Flames assistant general manager Craig Conroy said. "It's exciting being right there in Central Park. We want to have fun and have something different and that's what it is. It breaks up the monotony of regular practices.
"To be able to do something like that is pretty special and they'll remember that forever."
Calgary (26-24-3) plays the New Jersey Devils in Newark, New Jersey, on Friday and the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden on Sunday to start a three-game road trip before a five-day break.
The Flames, who held the second wild card into the Stanley Cup Playoffs from the Western Conference entering play Thursday, play at the Pittsburgh Penguins on Tuesday.
