The Washington Capitals players are raising modern-day Picassos.

For #CapsKidsDay on Sunday, the team held activities around Capital One Arena and had the players' kids draw portraits of their dads. Forward T.J. Oshie's daughters Leni and Lyla drew varying depictions of their dad, each equally as excellent.

Forward Nicklas Backstrom's kids Haley and Vince's drawings are also frame-worthy.

During the game against the Vancouver Canucks, there were local balloon artists at the arena creating mini-masterpieces.

The team also posted kid-skewed content throughout the day, including asking players about their favorite superheroes, cartoons and ice cream flavors. Forward Lars Eller said it is a three-way tie between chocolate, pistachio and orange sorbet, while defenseman Trevor van Riemsdyk is a loyal cookies and cream fan.
On the cartoon front, forward Alex Ovechkin said "Tom and Jerry" is his favorite and forward Tom Wilson said "The Simpsons."
"I had an older brother who was five years older, so we always got to secretly watch the Simpsons," Wilson said. "It was always good for some laughs even though we didn't understand half the jokes."

The Capitals may be grown men, but they're still young at heart.
