Capitals forward faces discipline from NHL for interference against Thomas of Blues

Washington Capitals forward Tom Wilson will have a hearing with the NHL Department of Player Safety on Saturday for interference against St. Louis Blues forward Robert Thomas.

The incident occurred at 5:51 of the third period of a preseason game at Capital One Arena on Friday. Wilson was not penalized on the play.
The Blues defeated the Capitals 4-0.
The following grounds are being considered for supplemental discipline: interference. However, the Department of Player Safety retains the right to make adjustments to the infraction upon review.
