Tom Wilson had a very busy 16 seconds.

The Washington Capitals forward was personally responsible for a two-goal swing against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Wednesday.
Maple Leafs defenseman Morgan Rielly nearly slipped a shot past Capitals goalie Braden Holtby, but Wilson dove into the net, brushing the puck away from the goal line with his stick. It preserved a 2-1 Capitals lead at the time.
But that score wouldn't keep long because Wilson got up out of the net and bolted down the ice as teammate Lars Eller carried the puck and redirected Eller's shot past Maple Leafs goalie Frederik Andersen to give the Capitals a 3-1 lead.
Wilson got some well-earned rest after that shift, but then returned to score his second goal of the game before the first period was over.
