Wilson suspended seven games for boarding

NEW YORK --Washington Capitals forward Tom Wilson has been suspended for seven games, without pay, for boarding Boston Bruins defenseman Brandon Carlo during NHL Game No. 373 in Boston on Friday, March 5, the National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety announced today.

The incident occurred at 18:27 of the first period.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and, based on his average annual salary, Wilson will forfeit $311,781.61. The money goes to the Players' Emergency Assistance Fund.
