Getzlaf has missed the past 19 games after having surgery to repair a fracture to the zygomatic bone in his cheek. Anaheim's captain and leading scorer last season was injured when he was hit by a puck on his first shift during a 4-3 shootout win against the Hurricanes on Oct. 29.
Silfverberg has missed the past five games after sustaining an upper-body injury against the St. Louis Blues on Nov. 29.
Carolina is 0-2-3 in its past five road games, including 0-1-2 entering the fourth of a six-game trip. The Hurricanes have been tied at the end of regulation 10 times this season and lost seven of those games, including 5-4 in overtime at the San Jose Sharks on Thursday and 3-2 in overtime at the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday.

Hurricanes forward Jeff Skinner has eight points (five goals, three assists) in 11 games against the Ducks, including one of his four NHL hat tricks in a 5-1 victory at Anaheim on Dec. 11, 2015.
Ducks forward Adam Henrique has at least one point in all five games since he was acquired from the New Jersey Devils on Nov. 30. He has six points (three goals, three assists) with Anaheim.
