Status report
Panthers coach Paul Maurice said there was a "good chance" that Barkov would be in the lineup after he did not play in a 4-1 victory against the San Jose Sharks on Thursday because of an upper-body injury. Barkov skated before practice Friday. ... The Avalanche did not practice Friday after their 5-0 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning on Thursday. … Rodrigues left the game in the third period and did not return after taking a puck to the face. There was no update after the game.
