Last year's Stanley Cup champions are backing what they hope is this year's NBA champions from the same city.
The Colorado Avalanche shared a video wishing the Denver Nuggets good luck in the 2023 NBA Finals. The Nuggets will host Game 1 at Ball Arena, the home they share with the Avalanche, Thursday night.
Their opponents will be the Miami Heat, who definitely have no shortage of NHL support from the 2023 Eastern Conference Champion Florida Panthers. That, of course, has been a two-way street.
"We're all pulling for you. We'll all be wathcing," Avalanche defenseman Kurtis MacDermid said. "Good luck."
