ANAHEIM -- John Gibson made 31 saves to earn his first win since March 1, and the Anaheim Ducks defeated the Columbus Blue Jackets 6-4 at Honda Center on Sunday.

Gibson had gone 0-10-3 in his previous 13 starts.
Troy Terry had two goals and an assist, Derek Grant had a goal and two assists, and Trevor Zegras, Cam Fowler, and Gerry Mayhew each had a goal and an assist for the Ducks (30-33-14), who are 2-1-2 in their past five.
"We haven't played a lot of (high-scoring) games like that," Terry said. "A lot of scoring chances both ways, but I thought we did a good job capitalizing on ours and limiting theirs."

Columbus forward Patrik Laine did not play because of an upper-body injury, and defenseman Zach Werenski sustained an upper-body injury in the opening minutes and did not return.
Laine leads the Blue Jackets in goals (26) and points (56), and Werenski leads their defenseman with 47 points (11 goals, 36 assists).
"Two pretty key guys for us on a back-to-back," Columbus coach Brad Larsen said. "That was tough."

Zegras gave the Ducks a 4-3 lead at 1:03 of the third period, finishing a pass from Grant on a 2-on-1.
Fowler scored on a snap shot through a screen to make it 5-3 at 3:28. He has a career-high 41 points (nine goals, 32 assists) this season.
"It's a nice achievement," Fowler. "I wish it would have happened in a playoff year, but it's still something I can be proud of."
Cole Sillinger cut it to 5-4 at 7:22 when he jammed in his own rebound after his initial attempt hit the post, but Grant shot into an empty net with 56 seconds left for the 6-4 final.
"Another tough start for us," Columbus forward Justin Danforth said. "Couldn't pull off the win, but there was the battle back, for sure."

CBJ@ANA: Sillinger beats Gibson to rebound

Terry put Anaheim in front 1-0 at 3:17 of the first period. Ryan Getzlaf intercepted a clearing attempt from Andrew Peeke at the Columbus blue line and skated down the right side before sending a pass to Terry for a one-timer.
Bean tied it 1-1 at 4:07 after getting open through the middle of the zone and scoring off a feed from Jack Roslovic.
Terry scored again at 5:43 for a 2-1 lead. He skated through traffic in the slot before scoring on his own rebound in the crease.
It was Terry's 36th goal of the season, the most by an Anaheim player since Corey Perry scored 43 in 2013-14.
"There's a lot of excitement in our room right now," Terry said. "It's been an up-and-down season, but we're excited, and we're excited for next year."
Mayhew pushed it to 3-1 at 7:42 of the first when he redirected a centering pass from Zegras.
"It was definitely a good period for us," Mayhew said. "We came out strong and we controlled most of the play."
Bean made it 3-2 at 1:34 of the second period on a wrist shot from the top of the left circle, and Sean Kuraly tied it 3-3 at 10:52 when he finished a pass from Eric Robinson on a 2-on-0 after Sam Steel turned the puck over in the middle of the zone.
"We found our legs pretty good on a back-to-back, really," Larsen said. "Just big mistakes tonight. That was the thing that really hurt us."
