Quick Blue Jackets

Jonathan Quick will always be undefeated as a Columbus Blue Jacket.

That kind of statistic is worthy of a tribute, at least the Blue Jackets think so. The team posted a tweet thanking the goalie on Thursday, after he was traded to the Vegas Golden Knights, just one day after the Blue Jackets got him from the Los Angeles Kings.

The tweet includes a photoshopped picture of Quick wearing a Blue Jackets jersey and hat. He never suited up for the Blue Jackets during his one-day tenure.

And, of course, the team couldn't resist using a "Quick" pun in the tweet.

A two-time Stanley Cup winner with the Kings, Quick was dealt to the Blue Jackets on Wednesday, then traded to the Golden Knights on Thursday.

The Arizona Coyotes made a similar move on Instagram after Tuesday's three-team trade which landed Patrick Kane with the New York Rangers. With the way the trade was structured, Kane was technically a Coyote for a short period of time.

And according to the crudely-photoshopped photo of Kane, he was even an alternate captain during his tenure.

While both guys had short residence with each team, they each clearly left their mark.
