SCOTTSDALE, ARIZONA - The Arizona Coyotes announced today their schedule for the 2022-23 National Hockey League regular season. The Coyotes will play a total of 82 regular season games (41 home and 41 away).

The Coyotes start their 27th year in the Valley of the Sun on Thursday, Oct.13 at PPG Paints Arena against Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins. Arizona will host Mark Scheifele, Pierre-Luc Dubois and the Winnipeg Jets on Friday, Oct. 28 in the home opener.
The Coyotes will host the NHL's biggest stars in Tempe throughout the 2022-23 season including: Chris Kreider, Adam Fox and the N.Y. Rangers (Oct. 30); Aleksander Barkov and the Florida Panthers (Nov. 1); Charlie McAvoy and the Boston Bruins (Dec. 9); Anze Kopitar and the Los Angeles Kings (Dec. 23); Nathan MacKinnon, Cale Makar and the 2022 Stanley Cup Champion Colorado Avalanche (Dec. 27 & Mar. 26); Auston Matthews, Mitch Marner and the Toronto Maple Leafs (Dec. 29); Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins (Jan. 8); Alex Ovechkin and the Washington Capitals (Jan. 19); Jack Eichel and the Vegas Golden Knights (Jan. 22); Ryan O'Reilly and the St. Louis Blues (Jan. 26 & Mar. 7); Kirill Kaprizov and the Minnesota Wild (Feb. 6 & Mar. 12); Steven Stamkos, Victor Hedman and the Tampa Bay Lightning (Feb. 15); Roman Josi and the Nashville Predators (Feb. 26 & Mar. 9) and Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers (Mar. 27).
SCHEDULE BREAKDOWN
The NHL's scheduling format will see the Coyotes play four games against these Central Division opponents: Dallas Stars, Nashville Predators, Minnesota Wild, Chicago Blackhawks and Colorado Avalanche. Arizona will face the Winnipeg Jets and St. Louis Blues three times for a total of 26 total division games.
The Coyotes will play the remaining eight Western Conference teams three times each for a total of 24 games. Additionally, Arizona will play each of the 16 Eastern Conference clubs twice, once at home and once on the road.
Arizona will once again host the original six teams in the Valley: N.Y. Rangers (Oct. 30), Boston (Dec. 9), Montreal (Dec. 19), Toronto (Dec. 29), Detroit (Jan. 17) and Chicago (Feb. 28 & Mar. 18).
Arizona's busiest month will be March with 16 games (five road, 11 home).
