Inspired by the Coyotes 1998 - 2003 "Third" uniform, the new jersey presents a color re-mix featuring desert Sienna. This is the first time this trending earth-tone color has been worn by any NHL Team. Replacing traditional striping at the hem and cuff, this Reverse Retro jersey features a sublimated graphic depiction of the desert and incorporates the Coyotes crescent moon logo as part of the landscape. Gecko shoulder patches round out the design with dimensional cresting treatments of raised backbone ridges. The jersey showcases '90s design markers underscored by oversized sublimated bold graphics and colors: the Coyote is on the prowl again! The current NHL Shield logo is remixed in vintage orange and black colors. In addition, the Gila River Resort & Casinos patch will be on the team's Reverse Retro jerseys.
"We are extremely excited to introduce our new desert Sienna Reverse Retro alternate jersey," said Coyotes President & CEO Xavier A. Gutierrez. "Our fans loved our purple Reverse Retro jersey, and we are confident that they will also be impressed with the cool changes to this classic jersey - especially the unique color that was inspired from our Kachina head logo. This is a great opportunity for us to grow our brand with a new and innovative jersey and connect with our Coyotes fans and our fans in waiting. We can't wait to see our players wear these incredible jerseys at Mullett Arena."
The Coyotes new Reverse Retro jersey will be available to fans exclusively at ArizonaSportsShop.com with a presale beginning at 9 a.m. today. The Reverse Retro jerseys will also be available at Mullett Arena later this season. The Coyotes will wear theses jerseys for six (6) games this season. The complete game schedule is listed below.

The Coyotes introduced their first alternate green jersey and uniform on February 3, 1999. Coyotes players Keith Tkachuk, Jeremy Roenick and Teppo Numminen took part in the unveiling at Alice Cooperstown restaurant in Phoenix. A true expression of the American Southwest, this alternate jersey was first worn by Coyotes players in a game on February 6, 1999, versus the Chicago Blackhawks. In 2020, the Coyotes introduced a purple Reverse Retro jersey.
The large Peyote Coyote head from the Kachina logo served as the primary logo with the trim of the green jersey revealing a desert scene at night with two saguaro cacti in the foreground and the Coyote moon rising over the desert mountain landscape. A desert-dwelling nocturnal lizard known as the gecko decorated each shoulder. Matching socks and solid black pants finished the uniform.
