DAL@CBJ: Radulov makes pretty move to win game in SO

COLUMBUS -- Jake Oettinger made five of his 29 saves in overtime for the Dallas Stars in a 2-1 shootout win against the Columbus Blue Jackets at Nationwide Arena on Sunday.

Alexander Radulov scored the only goal in the shootout in the forward's return after missing 15 games with a lower-body injury.
Joe Pavelski scored for Dallas (9-9-6), which is 3-1-2 in the past six games.
It was the first win after regulation for the Stars in the past seven tries. They are 2-6, including 1-3 in the shootout.
"We know we've had some bad breaks in overtime this year," Oettinger said. "It's just the way it goes, but to get the one tonight is huge, feels great, and just a great road win."
Zach Werenski scored, and Joonas Korpisalo made 34 saves for Columbus (11-12-7), which defeated Dallas 4-3 in overtime Saturday.
"We created plenty of offense, but in the end, it just wasn't enough," Werenski said. "We're definitely hitting our stride. This weekend was a great step forward for the rest of the year."
Oettinger is 4-1-5 in 13 games this season. He is 3-0-1 against the Blue Jackets, including a 5-0 win March 6 when he made 21 saves for his first NHL shutout.
"He made some big saves," Pavelski said. "Just solid, kind of like he's been all year."

DAL@CBJ: Kiviranta, Pavelski team up to open scoring

Pavelski gave Dallas a 1-0 lead at 14:28 of the first period with a redirection of Joel Kiviranta's shot. Rhett Gardner got an assist for his first NHL point in his 14th game.
Pavelski has scored 14 goals this season, including four against Columbus in six games.
Korpisalo kept it a one-goal game with a save on Jamie Benn at 16:19 of the second period. After Blake Comeau's shot hit the left post, the puck came to Benn for a one-timer from the bottom of the right face-off circle, and Korpisalo slid across and fully extended to make a left-pad save.
"I thought late in the second and even in the third we played our best minutes, multiple scoring chances," Blue Jackets coach John Tortorella said. "We ended up with four or five scoring chances. We hold them to one (chance) in the third. I liked how we progressed during the game."

Werenski tied it 1-1 at 6:49 of the third period on the first shot on goal in the period for Columbus. Jack Roslovic won a face-off back to Seth Jones, who set up Werenski for a one-timer from above the right circle.
Roslovic has four assists in the past two games.
"I don't know what [Werenski] saw," Roslovic said. "Shooting the puck is always a good thing. He probably had an opening. I trust that guy to put the puck where he wants to."
Oettinger made a save with two seconds left in overtime on Werenski, who won the game for the Blue Jackets on Saturday when he scored with five seconds remaining in overtime.
"I had a chance at the end and wanted to get the pass off, but it just didn't fall in that direction," Werenski said.
Radulov was injured Feb. 4 in a 4-3 loss at Columbus. He was minus-1 with five shots on goal in 16:20.
"It's hard to come back after three, four weeks off," Radulov said. "I basically never skated with the team. Just skated by myself. It's just hard to come back in because we don't have a lot of practices, just games."
Dallas went 3-7-5 with Radulov out.
"You see his value to the team in a lot of ways," Stars coach Rick Bowness said. "He was very good on the bench tonight, very supportive of the guys, very positive."
