Robertson Rangers game split

Jason Robertson proved that he knows how to handle a baseball bat too.

On Tuesday, the Dallas Stars forward visited the Texas Rangers at Globe Life Field to help the MLB team celebrate "Stars Night" and got a couple good swings in during batting practice. He even showed off a good bat flip too.

Robertson also took pregame photos with mom, Mercedes, and dad, Hugh, before throwing out the ceremonial first pitch.

And to make the night even more special, Robertson -- wearing a custom Rangers jersey -- got to share a catch with his mom.

The Stars and Rangers play just 20 miles apart, in Dallas and Arlington respectively.

The Rangers also posted a message from Robertson for their fans.

And yes, of course Robertson's mom got her customary pregame selfie.
