Broncos LB Gaidreau split Use

Denver Broncos linebacker Alex Singleton honored Johnny Gaudreau before his game against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday by wearing Gaudreau’s No. 13 Calgary Flames jersey during walk-ins.

From 2016-18, Singleton played for the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League. During those seasons, Gaudreau was playing for the Flames.

On Aug. 29, Gaudreau and his brother, Matthew, died in a tragic accident when they were struck by a car while riding bicycles near their home in Salem County, New Jersey. A funeral for the Gaudreau brothers was held Monday in Philadelphia.

Gaudreau played the first nine seasons of his NHL career with the Flames before he signed with the Columbus Blue Jackets in 2022.
