NEW YORK -- Vegas Golden Knights defenseman Deryk Engelland has been fined $2,688.17, the maximum allowable under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, for cross-checking Chicago Blackhawks forward Brandon Saad during NHL Game No. 874 in Las Vegas on Tuesday, Feb. 13, the National Hockey League's Department of Player Safety announced today.
The incident occurred at 0:57 of the first period. Engelland was assessed a minor penalty for high-sticking.
