DeBrincat bday fam

Alex DeBrincat received a birthday treat sweeter than cake on Wednesday.

The Detroit Red Wings forward shared a special moment with his son, Archie, before the team’s game against the Philadelphia Flyers at Little Caesars Arena.

The adorable toddler ran up to DeBrincat and gave him a big hug for his 27th birthday as the forward was coming off the ice after warmups.

DeBrincat’s wife, Lyndsey, held a sign up that read, “Happy Birthday Dada!” in one arm and their other son, Maverick, in the other.

“Thank you for the sign. That’s so nice of you,” the forward said to Archie in a video posted on social media.

Archie made sure to give his dad a few high-fives before DeBrincat went to the Red Wings locker room.

No need to blow out any candles, looks like all of DeBrincat's birthday wishes came true.
