David Perron was a popular choice among his teammates. Ben Chiarot suggested the veteran forward lose a few pounds, and Oskar Sundqvist said he should talk less. Perron chose to make a resolution for Sundqvist but said he could not say what it was. Adam Erne made the resolution that Joe Veleno should get a new car, and Pius Suter suggested the forward should get better at playing cards. "I always take your money all the time," Suter said. Time will tell if the Red Wings follow through on each other's resolutions.
