Swift Current forward and New Jersey Devils prospect Josh Filmon scored six goals in a rout of Edmonton in a Western Hockey League game Friday.
Filmon, who was selected by the Devils in the sixth round (No. 166) of the 2022 NHL Draft, started scoring and just couldn't stop, leading the Broncos to an 8-4 victory.
The league shared a highlight video of all six of Filmon's goals on social media.

Filmon accomplished the rare feat in just 36 minutes and 19 seconds of game time, scoring his sixth goal with 3:41 left in the second period.
At the time, he was the Broncos' only scorer in the game. They led 6-1.
Filmon was stopped by Oil Kings goalie Ronin Geraghty on a breakaway late in the third period, falling one short of the WHL record for goals in a game. The mark is shared by Brian Propp of Brandon (Jan. 25, 1977), Ray Ferraro of Brandon (Jan. 5, 1984), Mark Mackay of Moose Jaw (Dec. 19, 1984), Dennis Holland of Portland (Nov. 23, 1988) and Kimbi Daniels of Swift Current (Oct. 2, 1990).
