Kuokkanen's contract comes after forwards Tomas Tatar ($9 million) and
Yegor Sharangovich
($4 million) each signed a two-year contract with the Devils on Thursday. New Jersey on July 28 agreed with defenseman Dougie Hamilton on a seven-year, $63 million contract and signed goalie Jonathan Bernier to a two-year, $8.25 million contract.
