Hall is tied for the Devils lead in goals (five) and points (12), is first in power-play goals (three) and game-winning goals (two), and is first among forwards in average ice time (20:41). He is tied for seventh in the NHL with 60 shots on goal in 14 games.
Hall, acquired in a trade with the Edmonton Oilers for defenseman Adam Larsson on June 29, was placed on injured reserve. The Devils recalled forward Blake Pietila from Albany of the American Hockey League.

New Jersey (9-3-3), which will play at the Anaheim Ducks at Honda Center on Thursday (10 p.m. ET; PRIME, MSG+, NHL.TV), has won five games in a row and is third in the Eastern Conference with 22 points. The Devils canceled a scheduled practice Wednesday.
Hall's injury comes at a time when left wing Michael Cammalleri has missed the past three games for personal reasons. There is no timetable for his return. Cammalleri, who has three goals and six points in 12 games, is in New Jersey with his wife and two daughters.
"There's no other update, just that he's not going to join us to start the road trip," Devils coach John Hynes told NorthJersey.com on Tuesday. "We're in communication with him every day and he's just working through some things."
There is a chance Cammalleri could rejoin the Devils during their four-game road trip. New Jersey will play at the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday and San Jose Sharks on Monday before returning home to play the Toronto Maple Leafs on Wednesday.
