The defenseman was injured Saturday in a 3-2 overtime loss to the Vegas Golden Knights in his return after missing three games with a lower-body injury.
"It's certainly a tough blow for Hampus and the team," Anaheim general manager Bob Murray said. "However, we've seen some young players on the back end improve this year, and this is an opportunity for them to get more reps."
Lindholm has scored six points (two goals, four assists) in 18 games.
The Ducks (6-12-5) are in last place in the Honda West Division. They play at the Colorado Avalanche on Friday in the first of a two-game set.
