Dustin Brown wanted no part of covering Erik Karlsson 1-on-1 in overtime.

The Los Angeles Kings forward lightened the mood before the opening faceoff of the extra session by admitting he wanted to nothing to do with marking the Ottawa Senators defenseman and two-time Norris Trophy winner.
Kings defenseman Drew Doughty asked Brown if he would defend Karlsson for the first shift of overtime. Brown told Doughty, who also has a Norris Trophy win to his name, "You can have him."
It all worked out for Doughty, Brown and the Kings. They won 3-2 in a shootout.
