The 27-year-old forward appeared to injure his right leg when he was hit by Toronto Maple Leafs forward Patrick Marleau along the side boards during the third period of a 3-1 loss at Scotiabank Arena on Nov. 6. He was taken off the ice on a stretcher.
Haula, who hasn't played in the three games since the injury, remained with the Golden Knights for the final three games of that road trip. He was placed on injured reserve Tuesday.
The 27-year-old has seven points (two goals, five assists) in 15 games this season. He had NHL career highs of 29 goals, 26 assists and 55 points in 76 games in 2017-18.
